Mylot is a site which pays you for having discussions about various topics. You could discuss about almost any thing with the people at mylot community and get paid for that. Its just like Yahoo answers! but with the difference that, instead of points you get Money! Its like Orkut but with the difference that you get paid for every scrap. You can also refer your friends to mylot and earn 50% of their income as well!
Payments are made through PayPal or Moneybookers once your account has accumulated a minimum of $10 at the end of every month. Payments are usually dispatched before 15th of the next month.
Mylot always pays on time ie, You earnings are paid on or Before 15th of the next month.
Note: You need some practice before you could excel at mylot. The key thing to succeed at mylot is to enjoy the place. Even though mylot pays, money should not be the primary motive for being active in mylot, the quality of discussions and responses should be given more importance than posting large quantity of discussions or responses. Your reputation at the site is very important so giving bad responses might hamper you reputation and in turn your earning potential. Here is some of the Mylot Tips and Tricks I can give you!
• Don't Post your referral links to other money making sites. (Very Strict) Your Post will be deleted.
• Always write at least 4-5 sentences for your discussions and responses.
• Participate in your discussions and allow it to grow. Don't start a discussion and abandon it. Avoid giving the "Thanks for your response" comment.
• Add lot of people as your friends. The more friends you have the more people likely to see your discussions and thus more responses and thus giving you better reputation. Try to add the best rated people at mylot as your friends, they are the ones who are most likely to participate in your discussions.
• Always TAG your Discussions, Responses and Comments with relevant keywords so that people could find your discussions and responses while searching.
• Try to upload relevant pictures along with your discussions and responses. You are allowed to upload pictures along with your responses only after you cross the 500 ratings. Normally, Uploading a picture along with a discussion or response gives you an extra 1 cent.
• Do not answer in "YES" or "NO" or Do not ask questions which could be answered in "YES" or "NO"
• If you like a Discussion or response make sure to rate them with "+"
• Try to improve your reputation at mylot. Your Reputation is denoted by a Number inside a star next to your name. You get a star after reaching a rating of 100 (the number next to your name in the brackets) . The better your star Number the more chances of you getting paid well. The Number inside the star increases when people rate you with a "+" and it drops when people gives you a "-".
• Earning are updated only once in a day(in India around 7:30 P.M), so don't get panic that your earnings are not updated when ever you make a post.
• Refer your friends to mylot and get 50% of what they earn.
• Mylot can be really Slow with Internet Explorer But works better with Firefox.
• Last but not the least make sure that you make quality discussions and responses, always remember this, Quality of posts are more important in mylot than quantity.
